  Evaluation Process

Step 1: The grant application form and submitting your project file

First and foremost, you need to fill out the grant application form and submit a complete project file, which includes a business plan with forecasted financial statements and proof of your eligibility. The next deadline to submit your project file is September 13, at 4 pm.

Step 2: Your meeting with a Fondation Coordinator
During this meeting, the coordonator offers advice on your business plan and makes sure that your projet file contains the necessary information. As soon as Step 1 is met, book a meeting with your coordonator! They are available all year to meet with you.

Step 3: Evaluation of your business plan
You could be called upon for an interview, during which volunteers evaluate your business plan according to specific criteria and recommend a grant or not. Don't forget: submitting a file does not mean you will be awarded a grant

Step 4: Awarding of a grant
Each grant recommended by the evaluators are then confirmed by a Grants Committee. The decision to award a grant or not will depend on available funds and on the quality of the project files received.

The grant is offered in two instalments. In order to receive both instalments, the entrepreneur has to fulfill certain conditions that depend on the nature of the project, for example complete the project's funding.

All files will be analyzed within 6 weeks after the deadline date.
