VISA Entrepreneurial Contest for Québec's Black Communities

Chantier d’Afrique du Canada (CHAFRIC) and the Jeune Chambre de Commerce Haïtienne (JCCH) have joined forces to launch this first contest open to entrepreneurs belonging to the black communities of Québec.

Deemed as an effective way of integrating ethno-cultural minorities into their adopted country's socio-économic realities, entrepreneurship is undoubtedly a reliable springboard that allows these communities to fully and successfully achieve this goal.

Entrepreneurs can apply in one of the following four categories:
- Services;
- Production and processing;
- Arts and culture;
- Retail sales;

In addition, two special prizes will be awarded to young entrepreneurs, including a "Jeune relève entrepreneuriale" award for the best project submitted by an individual under 25 years of age.

The 10 national winners of this first edition will share a global sum of $20,000 in prizes and grants.
