The HEC Launches its E2 Grants Programme
In the context of HEC Montréal's Gala Commerce held in October 2009, funds were raised from Montréal's business community to enable young individuals between the ages of 22 and 35 who are entrepreneurial in nature to complete their studies and launch a business project.
Through this new programme, the HEC is demonstrating its innovative spirit and is promoting the development of entrepreneurship within the next generation and how important it is for young drop-outs to pursue their education.
In 2010-2011, HEC Montréal will be awarding 7 E2 grants valued at $8,000 each. The E2 grants consist in services associated with education and entrepreneurship, including:
- Training on creating a business
- Tuition fees
- Back-up financial support
- Pre-start-up grant
- Personalized support
- Several complementary resources
