The Québec Entrepreneurship Contest promotes entrepreneurship within Québec by targeting students, from primary schools to universities, as well as new entrepreneurs who are working on their business plan or still at the start-up stage.

The Business Creation program is opened to anyone of 18 years of age or over, residing in Québec and holding Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status. In order to be eligible, business projects or businesses must not have register any sales revenue before April 1, 2009 or must be launched, in Québec, no later than December 31, 2010.

Eligible business categories are : Bio-food, Business Operation/Processing/Production, Commerce, Services to individuals, Services to companies, Social Economy, Technological and Technical Innovation.

Registration deadline : March 15, 4:00 PM.
