In Hindu philosophy, yuga refers to an era within a cycle of four ages in the repeating creation and destruction of the universe. The spectator is whisked away on a unique journey in time from the last moments of Earth to the birth of the universe.
YUGA was created by Space&Dream, coproduced with the MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival, with a soundtrack by Edmund Eagan of the Twelfth Root Studio.
YUGA will be projected in theAmbiosphère L’Oréal, a 15-metre dome large enough to accommodate 300 to 400 people at a time. Thanks to the Hydra immersive projection technology, another innovation of the Space&Dream studio, the spectator is literally immersed in the images.
