> About the Campaign

 A 6.5-Million-Dollar Campaign Objective

We will invest in start-up grants

  • The maximum amount of start-up grants awarded will increase to $30,000 to further support promising projects.

  • The Fondation will create a closer link with Montreal’s growth sectors including information technologies, aerospace and design.
  • We will encourage more projects proposed by young entrepreneurs from cultural communities to facilitate the economic integration of newly-established Montrealers.

We will invest to develop our services, key to the success of young entrepreneurs

  • Several new volunteers will be recruited, trained and supported so that a greater number of young entrepreneurs can take advantage of an exclusive relationship with an experienced mentor or coach.
  • New practical training workshops will be developed along with experts so that young entrepreneurs and their teams can acquire the necessary skills to see their businesses evolve.

 Why contribute to the Fondation?

We recognize the audacity of young entrepreneurs and provide them with the means to fulfill their ambitions

  • This is why over 4.6 million dollars in grants have been awarded over the last 13 years.

We have a rigorous selection process

  • Over 200 volunteers from different activity sectors and with varied expertise judiciously review the proposed business plans. Only the most promising projects are retained – those that are presented by true entrepreneurs in the making.

Since 1996, our actions have had an impact on Montréal's Economic Prosperity

  • 879 new businesses launched in Montréal.

  • 1,850 jobs created.

  • Over 28 million dollars generated by the business start-ups.

We help young immigrants become part of the city’s economy

  • More than 20% of the projects have been launched by young people belonging to multicultural communities.

The businesses we support have an exceptional survival rate

  • 76% of the companies financed since the Fondation’s creation are still in business whereas the average survival rate of new businesses in Québec after 5 years is only 35%.

Contribute to the Montréal Inc. of tomorrow!

Together, over the next five years…

  • We will help launch over 300 new businesses in Montréal.
  • We will help generate over 14 million dollars in investments in Montréal’s economy.
  • We will help the economic integration of immigrant entrepreneurs.
